Below are answers to some frequently asked questions about Inventoried Sends. As always, feel free to reach out to the Support Team should any additional questions arise.

Can you cancel an eGift Experience offer?

At this time, you are not able to cancel an eGift Experience offer. Why? Because as a digital gift, it is sent immediately after clicking Send.

If an eGift Experience offer expires, can the recipient still redeem it?

Once the offer has expired, the recipient will not be able to redeem it. They will see a landing page that says the offer has expired and to reach out to the Sender if they have any questions.

Do eGift Experiences follow the same timeline as Sendoso Choice?

eGift Experiences follow the same lifecycle as regular eGifts.

For regular eGift offers, recipients will have 21 days to open their eGift offer before it expires. Two days before the expiration date, if the email is still unopened, a reminder email will be sent to inform them that their offer is about to expire. If the email is opened while the offer is still active, the recipient will have 90 days from the initial send date to claim their eGift code before it is no longer available to them.

Example: If the recipient received the email on October 1st, they would need to open the email by October 21st. If unopened, the offer would expire on October 22nd. If the recipient opened the email on or before October 22nd, they would have until December 30th to claim their eGift code.

What happens if my email bounces?

If an email bounces, the link will expire and the money will be credited back to the original funding source.

Can I require a meeting to be scheduled before sending an eGift Experience?

At the time of sending an eGift, when you choose the touch you'd like to send and how you would like to send it, you will see a "Require recipients to schedule a meeting to redeem the gift" option.

If this box is checked, Sendoso will open a new prompt requiring the sender to enter their Calendly, Chili Piper, or Hubspot link. The remainder of the send flow will execute normally. Read this article for more information. 

What kinds of eGift Experiences are available?

Currently, there are 5 primary experience categories:

1. Cooking

2. Drinks

3. Fitness

4. Family Friendly

5. Entertainment

At the time of sending, you'll be able to select between sending to an individual email or generating an eGift link to download. You will be prompted to select how to send it and also to select a "Sendoso Experience" category. This category will decide what the recipient sees when they click to redeem.
