Sendoso Choice allows you to select from a variety of eGifts to send to your recipients. You can select up to 30 options for each Touch and your recipient will choose which options appeal to them the most.
For this type of Touch, you’ll want to click the Sendoso Choice button at the top after you click + Create New Touch on the Touches page.
Click Next Step at the bottom of the page to continue.
From this page, we recommend selecting the currency and the amount of the eGift you’d like to set up as this will filter the options you are shown. Or, you can allow your Sender to choose the amount of the eGift at the time of sending.
You can also filter the options by selecting a category, or searching for the vendor at the top.
Simply click each eGift offer that you’d like to include in the Touch. Once you’re all set, click Next step at the bottom of the page.
On this next page, you will need to fill in some details. You will choose a Touch name, Start date, Time Zone, and how long you would like for the eGifts to be valid for the recipient.
Optionally, you can add a Display name and description (what your Senders will see on their end) as well as an expiration date for the Touch.
At the bottom, you’ll see whether this Touch should be initiated manually by your Senders, or if an integration should trigger it. If you’re setting up a triggered send and need assistance, please check out these articles.
Once you select Manual, you’ll see additional options appear. We’ll go through each.
Source of Funds: This is where you want the cost of the Send to come from. You can choose either for the Send to be charged to your Sender’s balance, or for the funds to be taken from your Funding Source.
If you choose Funding Source, you’ll have to select which Funding Source and whether you would like to allow your Senders to add funds during Send creation.
Touch Assignment: This is where you’ll choose which team will have access to this Touch.
You will also have the option to set Sending Limits for the teams you select. In the example below, the Support Test Team will be able to send this Touch 3 times in a 30-day period.
Optional: ADD SALESFORCE LOGIC
This will allow you to only display this Touch to Senders if their Contacts meet certain requirements. For more information about this, click here.
Optional: SALESFORCE CAMPAIGN TRACKING
This will allow you to sync Send statuses to your Salesforce account for tracking purposes. For more information, click here.
Click Next step at the bottom to continue.
Now it’s time to set your Sending Preferences. Here, you’ll choose how you’d like your Senders to send this Touch.
Shareable Link: This option will generate a link to the eGift that the Sender can send to the recipient from their work email or other communications with their recipient.
Email: This option will send the recipient a Sendoso-generated email containing a link to the eGift.
Let the Sender Decide: This option allows the Sender to choose from sending their eGift as a Shareable Link, Email, or SMS while in the Send flow
Once you’ve made your selection, you’ll be able to preview what the recipient will see when they receive their eGift.
Here, you have a few decisions to make. What would you like the email to say? What would you like the subject to be? Which customized theme would you like to use? You can make these decisions or you can allow your Senders to choose! It’s up to you!
Click Create at the bottom of the page to save your Touch!
Before your Touch goes live, you’ll have a chance to review the setup. Click the pencil icon in each section to make adjustments. You can click on the + to view what selections you made.
When you are done making the edit, simply select Update at the bottom right of your screen.
Once you’re confident in the Touch, click Activate.
